BUBBLE (OMN)

• MAKER: Northwood Glass Company (Martins Ferry-OH/Ellwood City-PA Operated: 1888-1896), Introduced: c1890
• NOTE: James Measell - the Northwood firm in Ellwood City, Pa., created some glassware that came to be known as "bubble ware" in the Dugan family. The crystal glass has a high lead content, and the pieces are quite heavy. These b/w pictures were taken at Lancaster, Ohio, about 1990 in the home of Mrs. Frances Dugan. I do not know what happened to these items after the death of Mrs. Dugan.
