• NOTE: Jerry Hack - There are insufficient characteristics for me to pass judgement on the attribution of this example. The finial has no similarity to the finials on the 3 Beaumont straw jars in the Family Collection. The gold trim on the lip of the base is also in question. Several imported straw jars in the Collection have gold trim on the lip of the jar base. I do not recall any American jars that share that feature.
