• NOTE: Sid Lethbridge 2024: it appears that this [flint] pitcher was pressed not blown moulded. How can we tell? The ribs are solid on the interior - not concave as would be observed with a blown object. It had to have been pressed as a cylinder and the body manipulated to shape and then the top hand worked to form a pouring lip. The body shape and robust applied handle combine to make a very handsome pitcher.
Dimensions: ~9-3/4" tall (highest point on rim); ~4" diameter
