BRYAN CAMPAIGN PLATE (AKA) can1
• AKA:
Canton Glass Company [First] (Canton-OH/Marion-IN, Company Operated: 1883-1899), Introduced: likely 1896
• NOTE: James McDonald 2022: William Jennings Bryan campaign item, probably 19896. found in opal (milk glass) and black amethyst.

NOTE: Sid Lethbridge 2022: "In January 1896 it was reported that Canton was introducing a line of jet ware (black amethyst) plates and dishes. Canton plates in jet appear in the 1897 Pitkin & Brooks wholesale catalogue so 1896 would seem reasonable for these plates."
