• NOTE: Craig Schenning - The pattern originated in the early 1900s. How early? Not really sure. The earliest company catalog image that currently exists (to my knowledge) is in a circa 1921 company catalog. But it definitely started earlier, as it can be found in a 1917 Butler Brothers catalog. So, it’s definitely possible that production could have started even earlier.
