ALLIGATOR ETCHING (AKA)

• Unknown Glass Company for Etchings No. 2 (Unknown Location, Operated: Unknown), Introduced: c1880s Introduced
• NOTE: Sid Lethbridge - The **Alligator Etching **(Metz) presents the viewer with a large alligator sitting on the bank adjacent to a water body. Behind it we see another alligator’s head rising out of the water.
For the purposes of my research the firm that did this etching has been designated as U2 i.e. Unknown 2. They were very prolific and there are about 27 etchings that can be assigned to them.
