FLATTENED FINE CUT (AKA)
Hourglass (for stemware)
Canton Glass Company [First] (Canton-OH/Marion-IN, Operated: 1883-1899), Introduced: c. 1885
• NOTE: Sid Lethbridge: That little ribbed triangle at each corner of the base connects this to the aka Flattened Finecut pattern. This pattern has been assigned to Canton Glass Co. (attribution).
NOTE: Lee (Victorian Glass, p. 173) refers to Hourglass as its own pattern - with stemware only. Other attributions of the goblet - Millard, Metz and Unitt - all use the same Hourglass name.
