WESTMORELAND SPECIALTY CO. No. 300 (OMN)
• AKA:
Westmoreland Specialty Company (Grapeville-PA, Co. Operated: 1889-1924), Introduced: 1896 Introduced
• NOTE: Sid Lethbridge: for a number of years this was thought to be an adult condiment set and not a toy, although it was collected as such. In 1914 a price list associated with the pattern showed prices for toy pieces. Price list courtesy Greg Jennings.

NOTE: Paul Kirk Jr: This little condiment set is their No. 300. "Thumbelina" is given the numbers 301 and 303. There is reference to Westmoreland's No. 300 condiment set as early as the 1890s in China, Glass & Lamps. Mention was made that they were put up in a neat cardboard box with a tiny salt spoon and that huge quantities were being sold. This image [catalog image] is from a 1912 Westmoreland catalog.
