OHIO FLINT GLASS CO. No. 808 ADA (OMN)
• AKA: Ada
Ohio Flint Glass CO. (Bowling Green-OH/Dunkirk-IN, Co. Operated:1891-99/1904-07), Introduced: 1898 Introduced
• NOTE: Paul Kirk Jr: Ada, No. 808, was introduced with much fanfare in the trade journals by Ohio Flint Glass Co. in anticipation of the 1898 market. It was advertised as being made in 100 pieces. A 1903 Cambridge Glass Co. catalog shows the pattern as No. 2577 Ware. The connection? National Glass Company. They built the Cambridge factory and many National owned moulds were sent there, but it was an independent company, not part of the National Glass Co. combine.
NOTE: Sid Lethbridge 2020: No. 808 Ada water bottle [cut]from the 1903 Cambridge catalogue. The National Glass Co. moved a lot of moulds from their various member factories to Cambridge.
