RUSTIC (OMN) mck&b
• AKA:
Drapery Variant; Long Tidy; Short Tidy; Stayman; Tidy
• MAKER:
McKee & Brothers/Pittsburgh, Jeannette-PA (Company Operated: 1853-1899), Introduced: 1871 Introduced
• NOTE: Sid Lethbridge 8-24-26 - I think that the Tidy goblet morphed over time with the earlier version having the pattern design lower on the bowl (so-called Short Tidy) and the later version has the pattern covering more of the bowl (so called Long Tidy). The database labels are reversed to what the Unitts called the two versions. If there are two different goblets shown in the catalogues over a decade, it is possible that there may be other versions. Alternatively, it could be a copy-cat.
• MOTIFS: Medallions/Shields, Stippling, Scrolls/Filigree
