RUSSIAN PEASANT (AKA)
• AKA:
Santa Claus
• MAKER:
NULL, Introduced: c.1915
• NOTE: Rick Ciralli (from a friend) 2025: Identifies as "Russian Peasant" or "Santa Claus". 12 1//4" high and all originals were clear. Original examples are embossed M.G. Husted. Smooth Base. Label states it contained "Manhattan / Cocktail / Extra / Quality... It contained Vodka...
I also have a side note that this bottle was manufactured by a small glassmaker of figural bottles "Husted & Hall, Atlantic Street, Bridgeton, New Jersey around 1915...
NOTE: this c.1900's company apparently made figural bottles, including "Santa Claus (Belsnickel)"
NOTE: Liz Roach 2025: seen in Revi p365 but not not described in text
