S.S. (OMN) bb by Bryce Brothers (Pittsburgh-PA, Company Operated: 1882-1891), c1891 Introduced
NOTE: Sid Lethbridge 2022 - Here is a catalogue page of the Pittsburgh Pattern along with four items that are labeled S.S. which appears to be the OMN for these items. Three are comports (low footed bowl) and the fourth is a comport worked into a cake basket (a U-shaped footed bowl) and they have a very different pattern than the Pittsburgh items that appear on this and other catalogue pages. What might S.S. stand for? Perhaps South Side?
