STORK FISHING ETCHING (AKA) by Unknown Glass Company for Etchings No. 1 (Unknown Location, Operated: Unknown), c1880s Introduced
NOTE: Sid Lethbridge - The Stork Fishing Etching (Unitts) is one of at least five related etchings showing storks in various poses. This etching presents a stork bending down to apparently capture something in its beak. The stork is surrounded by lush foliage and flowers.
For the purposes of my research the firm that did this etching has designated as U1 i.e. Unknown 1. They were very prolific and there are about 30 etchings that can be assigned to them.
