NORTHWOOD, H. CO. No. 516 (OMN) by Northwood, H. Company (Wheeling-WV, Company Operated: 1902-1924), c1913 Introduced
NOTE: Roger Haworth: Northwood No. 516 shade. It's opaque white glass, but also painted white and decorated. I'm not sure whether this is the original finish or not. The catalog page is from a c.1913 Northwood Luna lighting catalog.

NOTE: James Measell: I think the finish is original, and the white paint is to create better contrast with the nutmeg brown. I have one of these in plain Luna, 20" d., with 4 holes drilled. I once saw an 18" d. version that was a hanging fixture, and the hardware clamped the bowl in three places.
