UNKNOWN GLASS COMPANY PATTERN No. .525 (OMN) by Unknown Maker (Unknown Location, Operated: Unknown), c1887 Introduced
• AKA: Cross Bars and Cane
NOTE: Sid Lethbridge - in 1886/7, which companies had line numbers in the 500s and made apple green? It is a pretty short list – the Buckeye Glass Co. of Martin’s Ferry, OH and Doyle & Co. of Pittsburgh, PA. Of the two, I lean more toward Buckeye. Doyle production is fairly well documented through catalogues and price lists and there is no mention of a No. 525 line (or any line with a number higher than 500).
