TROUBADOUR (AKA) by Westmoreland Specialty Company (Grapeville-PA, Co. Operated: 1889-1924), Unknown Date of Introduction
• AKA:
The Lovers
NOTE: Roger Haworth - Kovar notes a 1904 Butler Brothers ad and a 1903 China Glass and Lamps mention. Note: Kovar calls what I'm calling the Knight's Mug the Troubadour and what I call the Troubadour, she calls the Lovers The only issue I have with this is that the Knight's mug pictures have nothing to do with musicians and I think the terms I use are in more common use.
Roger Haworth: The three Westmoreland mugs (Elves, Knights, Troubadour) were originally issued in milk white, opaque blue, opaque green, rarely in clear. Westoreland reissued in the 1980's in non-original colors. The handles on ELves and Knights are the same, different on Troubadour ( the same as McKee's Serenade)
