NOTE: Sid Lethbridge 4-14-26 - It started out as a Mirror type comport in the late 1850s and slowly morphed to a combination mirror/honeycomb and finally to a full blown honeycomb pattern by the 1870s. The transition may have been due to moulds wearing out and needing retouching.
