NOTE: Dan Edminster 2024 - Both the bottle and top are embossed with the patent date of December 28, 1886.
NOTE: Carol Mercurio Williams 2024 - Similar to INDIVIDUAL (OMN) Christmas Shaker (AKA) except footed, slightly different shape. Same patent date December 28, 1886 which appears to be for the top. Pictured on page 21 and discussed briefly on page 75 in Peterson. Shown as Barrel, Excelsior. (Not in Lechner II or III). C.A. Brown wrote a book, Salt Dishes 1937. According to Peterson, Brown pictured two of the shakers (pg 124-5) and said they were the "most unusual" of the 19 barrel shakers shown in his book.
