NOTE: They were introduced in 1890 as was reported in the April 27, 1890 issue of the Pottery & Glassware Reporter: "Bryce Bros. are doing a very fair trade, and have two furnaces going steadily. They have introduced a line of jars with covers, for culinary purposes, which will make a great strike. They make them in a half-dozen sizes, and they are suitable for the reception of various articles in the kitchen or pantry their apt to lie about in packages and get wasted. The neat panel with the name of contents is a fixed to each jar."
